BWLAP New Laws Training
Each fall, BWLAP travels around the state doing "New Laws" training. The training focuses on the law changes that have occurred in the prior year that might have an impact on battered women and their children.
The training includes information on Minnesota State legislative changes, Minnesota Court decisions, immigration policy changes Housing policy changes and federal legislative and court changes.
BWLAP produces a summary of new laws and a case law update. These materials are used as the basis for the training and are available upon request.
